“Waldemar was born and raised in the Chapada Diamantina region, in Lençóis. As the grandson and great-grandson of diamond prospectors, he has inherited the stories and legends of the gold mines, which have been engraved in his memory and spirit.

He has 18 years of professional experience as a guide in this region. In 2011, he graduated as a Regional Tourism Guide from SENAC, and since then, he has dedicated his life to exploring and sharing the treasures of Chapada through light hikes and more challenging trekking routes for adventure lovers.

Over the years, he has acquired a deep knowledge of the natural environment and feels a great passion for sharing it with those who visit the region. To offer an even more enriching experience, he has studied English and French, which allows him to connect with travelers from all over the world.

His love for adventure has led him to travel throughout Brazil and other countries in South America, Europe, and Africa, always seeking to expand his knowledge in trekking and mountaineering. However, what he enjoys most is sharing his experience with each traveler and learning from every person who joins his expeditions. For him, the world of outdoor sports is a space for constant learning.
